JAQK Cellars Wine Selection

JAQK-cellarsIf you ask us, any time is a good time for a glass of wine. There’s nothing better than a big, bold red for a cozy night in front of the fire place, or a cool and crisp white paired with the perfect meal. And with the holidays fast approaching, a nice bottle of wine makes the perfect gift for someone who seems to have everything – or the last minute purchase for the office party. We’ve recently been introduced to JAQK Cellars and already have a call in to the wine shop for a few samples. With eight varietals to uncork and a reasonable price range, consider our glasses ready. Now if you’re unfamiliar, or just beginning, with wines we’ve still got you covered.

Ranging in price from $19 to $68, you may want to reserve them for your special guests or dinner parties. And speaking of special guests, their flagship High Roller, is made from 100% Napa Valley grapes and harvested by hand. Less than 600 cases of this wine have been made.

As we said, you might not be familiar with wines, how they’re made or what you should even be looking for in a wine. To get started, we recommend having a wine party and just have everyone that shows up bring a bottle of their favorite (or random from the shelf). An informal tasting amongst friends really is the best way to get yourself introduced to the wonderful world of wine.

We honestly could go on for hours about our experiences getting started, the wines we love to keep on hand (see above), and the special occasion wines (see above) we can’t wait to have again, but we’ll leave all of that for discussion below. Drop us a line and let us know what your favorite wines are, or any experiences and advice you have for anyone just beginning their love affair.
