Well my little darlings, there is no getting around it anymore: Winter is around the corner. Some of our favorite things in this blustery time of year include spiked egg nog, holiday office parties, and mistletoe – for obvious reasons. The newest addition to our list is the Abercrombie Scarlett Jacket in Ivory. Nice and tailored so you don’t look like the marshmallow floating in your cocoa, it also has a uber-cozy (and removable) hood. With 80% down and 20% feather insulation you’re sure to stay toasty. The red and white checkered lining adds a cute lumberjack look.

Amazing Letterpress Poster
Being the designers and pixel pushers that we are, we have to appreciate how it all used to be done. Letterpress is one of those beautiful printing techniques that we instantly recognize when we see it. Usually found on upscale wedding invitations, fine editions of books or, in this case, a meticulously created work of art. Artist Cameron Moll handcrafted, character by character, this 16″ x 24″ poster over the course of roughly 100 hours. We instantly fell in love with it and already have a spot on the wall and a frame picked out. Videos of the printing process after the link.

Real Ryder Tilting Spin Bike
Our hands-down favorite exercise is cycling. Whether it be road biking, downhill mountain biking or a casual trail ride through the park – nothing burns more calories and puts a smile on our face like clipping in to our pedals. Now… when we actually make it to the gym, spinning is obviously our preferred activity. Still, you can really only pedal faster or slower on the existing bikes. The RealRyder adds another dimension and allows for a steering/leaning movement like a real bike. More movement = more muscles used = more calories burned.

Penguin Humidifier
It’s getting to be that time of year where no matter how much lotion we use, or water we drink, everything is still dry. If you’re like us and have been waking up with a scratchy throat or suffer from allergies, this might just do the trick. Aside from being shockingly cute – although we do have a soft spot in our heart for penguins – it’s also whisper quiet and really pumps out the mist. Fill it up with about a gallon of water and you’ll have about 11 hours of moisture-rich air. When it’s out of water, it shuts off on its own.
